While in Istanbul (October, 2009) I was fascinated by the traditional clothing of the Turkish women.
I took so many pictures on the streets and tried to be unobtrusive, but this one woman's eyes met the lens of my camera at the very moment I snapped the picture. Every time I look at this picture, I sense her disapproval. I also loved the contrast in the second picture between the conservatively dressed women and the very modern looking model in the window's advertisement.
so enjoyable....love seeing your pics and reading your artistic comments. maybe you should put your photos in a book so we can ALL enjoy your amazing work...
