Definitely NOT "Doris"

...so had I stopped to think the other day, I would have realized that the deer I saw HAD to be "Doris" because the males would already have their antlers by now, even if not fully grown.   It wasn't until I saw "Boris" and "Horace" in our neighbor's front yard earlier that it became quite obvious.  I was going to crop the pictures to get rid of the extraneous visual clutter in the images, but then I decided not to because I thought it was more interesting to see these creatures living amongst us.  Stay tuned---Allie saw a fawn earlier with all of its white spots---I keep looking out the front door, but no sightings yet.  Maybe when everyone turns off their lawn mowers...

She's Back!

We haven't seen "Doris" much these days, but she was hanging out in our backyard when we drove in the other day. Our car didn't scare her off, nor did my attempt to get close enough to feed her some strawberries (which you see her eating in the second picture).  Perhaps the hair on her chin means that she's really "Boris" not "Doris"?

Believe me, I take plenty of pictures of Dillon but his lack of contrast usually means you can't tell his face from his ass.  Now that Allie is home, he has some contrast to distinguish his sweet face....

A day of dodge ball

Fountain Square in Cincinnati was the venue for the PLN (Professional Leadership Network) Dodge Ball fundraiser.  Fusian entered as a team, and Zach organized a team of local mascots, one of which was Mike dressed in the gorilla outfit...

"To the Vet, Please"

I am fully aware that the majority of my posts lately have been about Cody, but it's just simply hard to resist.  I took him to the vet yesterday, and normally in the car, he would sit in the empty seat next to me. This time however, he hopped in the back seat and sat there the entire way as if I was his chauffeur.  Maybe I was?

Cincinnati Skyline

I came across this image of downtown Cincinnati taken last year.  I can't count the number of times I've said "I need to try to remember to capture this image when I have my camera".  Because we were driving back from a vacation in North Carolina, I had my camera and snapped away...
