Greek Architecture

Many times when I travel to a new place, it ends up looking nothing like I pictured it to be.  The Greek Isles, however, looked exactly as I imagined it.  The contrast of the whitewashed buildings against the azure blue skies was nothing less than picturesque.  A small fishing village in Mykonos was home to this small iconic looking Greek church.  The second picture is a cluster of homes built into the hillside-note the cubic homes, flat roofs, and spare lines-all indicative of the traditional cycladic style of architecture in this area.
