Because the road leading to it is closed in the winter, capturing images of Maroon Bells in the winter isn't easy (unless, of course, you access it by foot, skis, snowshoes, or snowmobile). Yesterday morning I managed to grab my camera on my drive into Aspen and snapped this image of the Bells blanketed in snow, plastered against a perfectly bluebird sky on a beautiful spring-like morning.
