A blanket of clouds...

After last night's (atypical) several hour rain, we woke up this morning to a blanket of clouds.  I forget how high up in altitude we are... 

Summer gives way to Fall...

I love all the contrasts that the mountain climate provides.

  The planted flowers are still healthy and vibrant, but nature's fade into fall is evident as the dandelions (last picture) transform into fluffy clouds of seeds.  It looks like an intricately delicate web...

The community gathers for the last Thursday night concert on Fanny Hill for the summer.  Fall is in the air...

Finally...my first bear sighting

So...I was standing in the kitchen and I heard the most unusual repeated noise, a sort of "whiny crying"...I looked out the front window and saw the bear, called for Mike, and went out the front door to take pix.  The bear was running around as if lost and looking for its mother (it looked like a cub).  The bear literally walked up my front walk and stood on my front porch...

We had fun at the ATP in Cincinnati today, tooling around in the vehicle the venue provided for Fusian as a vendor at the event...
