Walk the Line
Sightings of Canadian Geese are frequent these days and I don't usually grab my cell phone to take a picture, but when I turned the corner in a parking lot and saw these four goslings walking in line between what I presume are their mother and father, I simply couldn't resist. As I attempted to get in closer, the adult in back turned and hissed at me, and I quickly ran away...

Just so I never forget...
A while ago, Allie and I were video chatting (as you see the picture of me in the bottom right hand corner) and she showed me this mylar balloon that someone gave her. We took a snapshot from the video chat and I keep this picture on my desktop so I can be reminded of her royal status....

My Protector
I'm often asked where the dogs sleep, and I answer "with us, of course". Typically, Cody occupies the space between us, laying his head on the pillow next to one of us. Often, while Mike is still awake and watching tv, he props up above and behind me as I fall asleep, watching over me...my protector.

Now I know why it's called "corpse pose" in yoga...
